Cecil Otter and Swiss Andy Present Wugazi: 13 Chambers

Wugazi

Cecil Otter and Swiss Andy, two members of hip hop collective Doomtree, just gave birth to a new child: Wugazi. Okay before some of you weird dudes out there interpret that the wrong way – I just mean they created new music. No children. Just good music.

I have to thank my buddy Will at work for this one. In his own words (or something close to them, anyway), “this music is damn good. Might be for the 30 and ups of the world, but damn good.” I’m not a member of that club yet, but I can still appreciate this album. It’s a mashup of punk gods Fugazi and hip hop moguls Wu-Tang, but not in the way you might typically envision a mashup. This is seamless. Favorite track on the album below: “Sleep Rules Everything Around Me.”

Life as a shorty shouldn’t be so rough.
