Joey is quickly (very quickly) becoming one of the brightest shining young emcees in the game. He’s arguably outshined A$AP Rocky on 1 Train and definitely outshines Smoke DZA on this track. It’s only a matter of time before Joey becomes the headliner–he’s well worth it.
Nothing particularly remarkable about the video here, but I really dig the production on this track and I think DZA and Joey’s flows go off here.
Some of the stuff Joey spits goes right over my head until I listen enough times. That’s a rare ability and the kid has it in droves.
Calling it right now–Joey will have a number 1 album by the time he is 20. That gives him just north of two years. You heard it here first.
