[Video] Mac Miller – Best Day Ever

Ever wondered what Mac Miller looked like as a kid?
I woke up this morning with a bunch of tweets about the new Mac Miller music video for “Best Day Ever,” a song from the mixtape, Best Day Ever. I slowly realized it was a lot more than a music video as it features a lot of home videos from a young boy named Malcolm McCormick (Mac Miller) who looked as happy as any little kid could be. A lot of people probably either laughed or went “awwwwww” when the video started and they saw young Mac Miller rapping SugarHill Gang’s hit “Rappers Delight.” I think this video is a lot more personal and sentimental. The majority of the video was shot at Blue Slide Park, the name of his next album and the same spot where “Kool aid and Frozen Pizza” was filmed. The video alone is very deep and is a huge change from what we normally see from a Miller video, involving either partying, smoking, or a mix of both. This is the type of video where Mac Miller can reflect on his past and be proud of the work he has accomplished.
Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did as the video takes us deep into Mac Miller’s childhood! It might get a bit emotional if you have been a fan of his for a while :’(
P.S- Mac Miller is releasing his concert tickets to twitter fans first so if you do not follow him, you best do it now!
