So this video, as you may know, is not new. However, I have been getting more and more into Joey Bada$$ recently, and thought I should share it. This is the first thing I saw from Joey, and immediately made me a fan.
If you don’t know Joey Bada$$, get familiar–rarely, if ever, does a 17 year old rapper make the kind of noise he has been making. With timeless, laidback, classic Brooklyn flow, he’s been getting comparisons to some of the greats.
Whether or not you buy into the comparisons, it’s pretty hard not to buy into his talent. If DJ Premier cosigns the kid, he’s the real deal.
