The Neighbourhood – Let It Go
I’m writing about a friend, and let me begin by saying, when I say that I’m writing about a friend, I actually am writing about a friend. I’m not backhandedly writing about myself. You see, this friend (a real person) is stuck in a relationship where the other person is horrible, and everybody knows it… except her. We have told her this many times and have even given her a full scale intervention to no avail. But maybe this song will help her. This is the first single from 2012′s best new band The Neighbourhood off of their upcoming Thank You EP, which is out December 17th (8 days after my birthday). “Let It Go” finds the band in an eerily similar position as my friend. Check it out.
