After the first few listens, I wasn’t too sure what to make out of the new song Sid Sriram has with Sonny Shotz of The Dean’s List. Wasn’t sure if I liked it, or I absolutely hated it. Just a few more listens, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I love it.
The reason I love it is because of Sonny Shotz. I think he’s really stepped his game up this year and he flourishes on these darker beats (another example here).
This marks the second song in the recent months that Sid Sriram & Sonny have linked up for and I think they made quite the duo. Peep it below!
I’ve been waiting for this to happen. Two things:
The result? A really fun song from two groups with massive talent. Happy Monday!
Currently, Sid Sriram is a student at Berklee College of Music. In the near future, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sid Sriram was the next Bruno Mars. This kid has a natural ear for catchy music that complements his beautiful voice perfectly. As D Prep said the last time we sponsored a Sid release, this isn’t typically the type of music we gravitate toward over here, but there’s something about it that makes it stand apart from the rest of the R&B/pop music.

Does it sound like something that could be on the radio? Sure. If the radio steps its game up, that is. One thing the world can never get enough of is beautiful voices. If you ask me, Ke$ha does not have a beautiful voice. Neither does Britney Spears. Sid Sriram, however, does. Matter of fact, he could probably knock a lot of the American Idol contestants out of the park. I’m putting my money on Sid making it far in his musical career. Let’s help him take the first step by supporting his single releases. If you’re fan, click on the Facebook “Like” and/or Tweet button and spread the word about this single.

Sid Sriram will be a new name to the vast majority of you reading this post. I can say with complete confidence that this will not, however, be the last time you hear his name. Today, we are proud to co-sponsor the release of his latest single, “Limitless,” with our friends over at Good Music All Day.
Sunset rarely dabbles in music that could be considered “pop” music. While this has a pop vibe to it, Sriram’s talent is blatant. With an excellent voice, Sid stays on point vocally throughout the entire track. With a great hook, this is the kind of song that easily finds itself stuck in your head.
Sriram lets his voice speak for itself, absolutely belting over a rather simply produced instrumental. No autotune, no gimmicks; just a piano riff, a drum beat, some guitar, and a beautiful voice. Simplicity is powerful, and so is Sriram’s voice. Don’t be surprised if you hear this one on the radio, this has Top 40 written all over it, and trust me, it’s a whole lot better than Taio Cruz.
