Lostboycrow is high up on my list for artists to watch out for in 2017. With a strong 2016 behind us, we start out his 2017 with the release of “Verona,” which acts as the first single from his upcoming EP due out later in Spring. With Verona being the setting to Shakespear’s “Romeo, and Juliet,” Lostboycrow creates a light, uptempo backing to the obstacles that lie ahead in love. Music is cool.
Bonus! Check out the acoustic version of his pop hit, “Stay a Little Longer.”
Lostboycrow has been on Sunset’s radar for a while now. He’s currently one of our favorites to lead us into the 2016 music year. With first making waves on Sunset back in April of 2015, the music in which he describes as happy, sad, sexy, and dance, began when he made Los Angeles his new home and was fortunate enough to record a few songs with his good pal, Dylan (Flor). From there on, Lostboycrow was born. One of the first things we asked him was why Lostboycrow? Is there any significance to the name?
“I wanted the name to reflect the sentiment behind all of the art I create, a banner I could hold above every song and feel good about. It’s about having a vision and telling a story; “Lostboycrow” comes from the legend of The Lost Boy told by the Crow Nation – a people whose culture is centered on both of those things. I feel close to them and they inspired me to create and dream with others.”

Lostboycrow returns with “Love Won’t Sleep,” his latest emotional offering in a slew of indie-pop songs that have graced the internet this past year. With a strong 2015, Lostboycrow looks to start 2016 with a bang as his debut EP, Sigh For Me, drops January 13th. Get ready!
Lostboycrow continues to showcase his abilities with his latest “Talk Back To Me.” Here’s what he had to say on the inspiration on “Talk Back To Me:”
“Wherever there is strong, genuine feeling -be it anger, euphoria, sadness, desire- there is also vulnerability. “Talk Back To Me” is about experiencing all the above with someone so quickly due to circumstances beyond your control. It’s about needing. In the art of seduction, and in the pain of unrequited love.”
Sexy, smooth, one of a kind. The anticipation builds for the debut EP…
Kill Paris takes the infectious “Powers” from Lostboycrow and flips it 180 degrees. Kill Paris has gone and taken “Powers” from a chilling song to a heavy chill tune. Whether that be a ‘Netflix and Chill’ type of meaning is up to you, but regardless, this is an awesome remix incorporating the mixes to give “Powers” the uptempo treatment.
Lostboycrow channels a darker energy for his latest release “Powers.” It’s extremely easy to say this will make it on our “Best New Songs of September” in a few weeks. With twists, and turns, synths and snares, “Powers” is a genre-defying tune because you’re not quite sure what it is. One thing we know for sure, it’s smooth banger that deserves your attention. If you’re not a fan of his yet, what are you waiting for?
Lostboycrow continues to put out melodic, and somewhat genre bending music that is hard not to love. “C’est La Vie” is no different as he moves forward with taking over the LA music scene. “C’est La Vie” means that’s life in french (in case you weren’t aware or are smarter than me. Thanks Google!).
Lostboycrow is small fish, in a large pond of indie-pop artists. You have to create a somewhat distinct, unique sound in order to stand out. He’s clearly had no problem doing that. “Say You Want Me” is easy on the ears, and catchy enough to keep you coming back for more.
