Joe Hertz – Simple feat. JONES

Joe Hertz is continuing his rise since September’s How It Feels with his latest single, “Simple”. This tune features the glossy vocals of JONES, whose syrupy voice flows flawlessly over Hertz’ production. To my ears, the beauty of this song is Hertz’ ability to stay out of the way of the vocals, but still get the audience dancing. You’ll be singing the hook from the chorus for days, but after a handful of listens you’ll also notice the understated complexity and sophistication of the production. House, R&B, and pop influences come together artfully in this gem of a tune.
