Daylight Saving time always sneaks up on me. Every year, twice a year, it sits there on my calendar, but it seems as though my eyes have trained themselves not to notice it. So I thank god every time it comes around that my mom still knows me well enough to know she needs to remind me. Sure, I have devices that automatically update themselves (though now I sometimes wonder why the heck my wall clock, microwave and stove wouldn’t know to update themselves…like come on, it’s 2014!…what?), but it’s still worth knowing that there’s going to be a significant change in your days.
Everybody always says the one in the spring time is better. Spring forward. The sun stays out longer. The warm weather is on its way. Yeah yeah, you lose an hour of sleep, BUT IT’S WORTH IT.
This year, I’m ready to spring forward. I’m ready for longer days, new beginnings, and refreshed motivation. I’m starting a new job and am excited about it.
This latest Listen While You Work playlist stands for finding your new beginnings. Seek motivation. Chase your passions. Work for a reason. Let this be your soundtrack.
Collin McLoughlin continues to impress with another track off of his upcoming EP, Tears of Tempo. He flexes his newly mastered production skills of the wop, and drops in his latest, One Desire. Peep the video below and continue to check back every week for a new leak off of his EP!
Last week, we got Chasing Ghosts. Today, we get the latest off of Collin McLoughlin’s upcoming EP, Tears of Tempo. “Surrender” is another solid effort from the singer/songwriter/producer as he yet again gives us that triple threat of singing, writing, and producing.
This has a bit more grit with some wobbles here and there, making it a different sound than Chasing Ghosts. Come back next Tuesday for the next release off of the EP!
After appearing as a contestant on The Voice, singer Collin McLoughlin is getting back to releasing some new original material. He’s gearing up for a brand spankin’ new EP entitled Tears of Tempo (most of it produced, written, and sung by himself) and will be releasing a new track off of it every Tuesday at 10AM EST, so there’s something to look forward to on Tuesdays!
Clearly, Collin is showing off his diversity because this EP is EDM infused with powerful vocals. This is a different route than his acoustic music we’ve seen this past year. Peep it below!
It’s been a hot minute since we last heard from my guy, Collin McLoughlin. He’s been doing a lot of acoustic covers lately, but he graces our ears with this brand new, original cut “House of Cards” that will for sure make studying more enjoyable or a relaxing session more relaxing.
“This is the acoustic mashup of Adele’s “Someone Like You,” including portions of Katy Perry’s “The One That Got Away” and Rihanna’s “We Found Love.” The track was arranged, produced, sang, and fully performed by Collin in his bedroom with the studio footage being shot and edited in NYC by Jon Kilmer”
Collin has mad talent. Just needs that one big break!
New (old recorded) track from Collin McLoughlin. He recorded it a while ago, but it’s just seeing the light of day right now. Does this dude ever disappoint…seriously, does he?
Finally, (I have been waiting for a long time for something like this) Collin McLoughlin released his debut EP, Stark Perspective, on iTunes yesterday. It’s only four tracks, but hey, at least it’s something! He’s been taking over the internet with all of his covers so I think this was good timing for the release of Stark Perspective. Click here to check some of them. He accompanies acoustic beats with his amazing voice. I highly recommend you support Collin in return for all of the free music he’s put out. You can do so here.

As of recent, we’ve seen Collin McLoughlin do acoustic covers to many songs, which are top notch covers. Nothing beats acoustic songs, in my opinion. This time around, Collin brings back the sound from when I first heard of him via his twitter yesterday. He takes Zomboy’s “Game Time,” and Benny Benassi’s “Cinema” to create this masterpiece.
“It’s peanut butter jelly time!”

About damn time this guy released something new…
I have a confession…outside of Frank Ocean, Collin McLoughlin is my favorite singer. I’ve been following Collin since early last year and he gets better each time. His voice is just absolutely amazing and his sound is awesome. How he hasn’t blown up yet is actually surprising me. Can’t rush perfection though. Collin is on a solid path for success. Below is the information on this cover as well as the video and mp3.
This is the music video accompanying Collin McLoughlin’s mash-up based on Stereo Hearts, the new single by Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine. The actual track was recorded in Collin’s apartment by himself, and he produced and wrote the new arrangement for the song along with playing all of the instruments in the track. Songs included in the mash-up are all current mainstream radio songs: “Stereo Hearts,” “Just Can’t Get Enough,” by the Black Eyed Peas and “the Lazy Song,” by Bruno Mars. Be sure to check out Collin’s website, twitter, and facebook fan page to stay current with any new releases and updates.
