Chris Brown
[Remix] Chris Brown ft. Rihanna – Turn Up The Music

Yup! You read that right…Rihanna & Chris Brown have made a song together!
Rihanna hops on Chris Brown’s club banger “Turn Up The Music” and adds her touch to it. I’m curious to see how the public will react to this one…

David Banner ft. Chris Brown & ASAP Rocky – Yao Ming Remix

This is like Rack City to me, as much as I don’t want to like it, I can’t help it! This instrumental from David Banner is crazy and both Chris Brown & ASAP completely murder their verses. The original version had Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz, which you can listen to here. Which version do you like? I’m with Breezy & ASAP > Weezy & 2 Chainz

David Guetta ft. Chris Brown & Lil Wayne – I Can Only Imagine

This is without a doubt a club banger. Well, all David Guetta songs are anyways. Only thing I wish I could change in the song is Lil Wayne. Love Chris Brown in it, but Tunchi? He’s just average. Just a filler in my opinion, but still worth a spin in the clubs!

Chris Brown – I Love Her

Say what you want about Chris Brown, but he knows what the fuck he’s doing when it comes to music. He can turn it up and drop a dope verse on you, or he can slow down and sing a lovely ballad such as this latest joint called “I Love Her.” This is a great sound, and the ladies will love it. This is why he’s an “artist” rather than just a singer or a rapper because he’s got versatility. Chris, I got one word for you, touche.

Mumford & Sons – Little Lion Man (Hot Young Girls Make Lovestep Remix)
I’m a big Mumford & Sons fan (although I need some more new material from them), and this was a really cool remix to hear. This remix puts a very unique twist on the song, and perhaps the coolest part is when they blend the womp with the strumming of the original guitar track. I usually don’t like remixes of songs like this, but this one was extremely will done. Sounds awesome to me. Turn up the bass and kick back.
Lady Gaga – The Edge of Glory (Porter Robinson Remix)
Well this one just goes off, plain and simple. Porter Robinson starts it a little slow, letting it build up. Then, right around 2:30, he lets it drop. Play this at a rave or in a club, that’s when people start losing it. Porter’s going to be a big, big name in the club scene.
Chris Brown ft. Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne – Look At Me Now (Manila Killa Bootleg)
For me as a DJ, this is an extremely useful song. Shouts to DJ Bahler for showing it to me, dude’s the man. This is exactly the kind of song I drop right as a hit peaks in my set. It gets going super fast, Busta spits 1200 words per minute, and the groove of the song is awesome. Right at 3:04, I would drop something MASSIVE, that’s just too perfect of a lead into a song. That’s when I’d bring out the wompiest wompers I have and watch faces melt.

“My Last feat. Chris Brown” – Big Sean by SunsetintheRearview
To be honest, I was really scared when I first saw this. First off, I always get worried when my favorite up and coming artists create their first big album. I get nervous, and rightly so, that they will sell out, change their sound to get more plays, and otherwise dilute their talent.
When I saw the Chris Brown feature I was terrified. I thought for sure this would be the end of the Big Sean I loved. Out of all artists he could have featured, Chris Brown? The last thing I heard from Chris Brown that I could listen to was “Gimme That (Remix)” with Lil Wayne. So I was not feeling confident. When that autotuned Chris Brown dropped, I was horrified.
But I like this track. Hell, I even like the hook. I’m shocked. Chris Brown sounds nice, the hook is catchy and actually makes sense knowing where Big Sean comes from, and Sean sounds great throughout. Strong lyrics as always. Definitely download, great one to chill and think to. Definitely going to get a lot of radio time. It’s going to be weird seeing Big Sean on the big stations out there, but expect it. I’m excited to hear this album, which is allegedly dropping in March. Great production from No I.D. on this track.
Man I just ended up on er’rybody’s guest list/ I’m just doing better than what er’ryone projected/ Knew that I’d be here so if you ask me how I feel/ Imma just tell you that it’s everything that I expected.

Well, I don’t know really what to say about this, except…what CB did was completely wrong. But after seeing this video and reading his tweets from yesterday that were totally sad and saying that he feels incomplete, I do sort of feel for the kid. Imagine having the whole world against you, and you know he still loves her to death. But again, what he did was wrong…does he deserve to get her back? Who knows. Your thoughts?
