Sweet Baboo is the stage name for Stephen Black, an artist who started his musical career in North Wales around a decade ago as a way to impress the ladies. It’s one of those stories you hear about every other day now: a lonely guy who started making music in his bedroom while living in his parents’ house. Well, his music was heard, eventually picked up by Moshi Moshi, and now today we’ve got Sweet Baboo swining this intimate song, “Let’s Go Swimming Wild.” Man, that slightly off-tune harmony just gets me every time. Never thought I’d say that, but it’s incredibly alluring in this tune.
