Sir Sly just premiered a new song today called “Easy Now” on The Line of Best Fit. The LA band of three will be releasing Ghost, their debut EP on March 4th via National Anthem. This song here is pop music, but it’s got the haunting vibe in its heavy bass that is juxtaposed with Landon Jacobs’s voice, which sounds a bit like a pop-rock version of The Tallest Man on Earth’s. In their sonic qualities, these guys are reminding me a bit of The Neighbourhood, which is an incredible compliment to their sound and ability to stand out. I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Ghost, but until then, I’ll be playing Easy Now on repeat.
What if I could clean your slate, play the savior, take the blame? We’ve both got a lot of blame, but the living’s easy now.
