Mount Moriah – Bright Light
I just found Mount Moriah tonight, and I have loved what I’ve heard so far. The lead singer, Heather McEntire, sounds a lot like Stevie Nix to me. MM is a collaboration between Heather McEntire and Jenks Miller, who play in French pop band Un Deux Trois together.
This is the second single off of their upcoming sophomore effort Miracle Temple. I’m not sure if Lyds can be a fan of Mount Moriah, because they are based in Chapel Hill–given her passion for all things Duke, I doubt that’s acceptable in her book. Maybe she can make an exception for these guys?
Anyway, look out for Miracle Temple when it drops on February 26th.
FYI: Moriah is the name given to a mountain range by the Book of Genesis, in which context it is the location of the sacrifice of Isaac.
