The longest track on Kendrick Lamar‘s good kid, m.A.A.d city, “Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst,” is a lot to take in on the first listen. It’s over 12 minutes long and it’s obvious that it’s dark, deep, and a true picture of Kendrick’s past. But until you hear the description straight out of Kendrick’s mouth, as Life + Times is letting us do, it might not hit you quite as hard. This right here is exactly the sort of reason why good kid, m.A.A.d city was named Best Album of 2012.
