Introducing: K H U S H I

K H U S H I - Seven Years Old

K H U S H I is special. I don’t think I’ve been this excited about a singer-songwriter since George Barnett emailed Lydia earlier this year or maybe since I discovered Leonard Friend‘s music. With just four songs, K H U S H I has captured the spirit of some of our favorite indie acts of the year, including Alt-J and The Lighthouse and the Whaler. These songs contain simple, sort of classic melodies. This is music to play during roadtrips with your parents to prove that you’re discovering some really good music writing for the music blog Sunset in the Rearview. Oh.
