Gus Dapperton is an indie artist from Warwick, New York with a really cool name. Last week, he released his new track “Ditch,” and I have had it on replay ever since.
The song begins with synth work reminiscent of Dev Hynes‘s groundbreaking Palo Alto score. From there, “Ditch” breaks into a familiar sound ideal for windowless summer driving. It is the type of song that will make you feel like you’re starring in your own personal coming-of-age movie.
