Four Tet – Moma

posted by: Lydia New Music Daily
Four Tet

I’m listening to Four Tet’s “Moma” and I’m empowered to do whatever I want. For whatever reason, Moma is making me feel the urge to run naked throughout the city streets in cold weather and neither get the goosebump or pulled over by a cop. Its pulsating beats are both addictive and mysterious. I’m running, slowing to look around the corners, wondering who’s going to catch me. Then the beat speeds up for a second and I dash for the next corner. Things are steady and smooth, until Four Tet drops another layer. Now I unintentionally gather a group of followers who join my cause to take over the world, naked. Perhaps we’re the new Occupy group. Occupy The Streets: Naked. All we stand for is music with a beat that empowers us to be who we want to be. The next layer drops and we’re causing traction. Buy the song to figure out the rest of the story for yourself. You wont regret it.
