Childish Gambino – New Song [Live]

Last night, Donald did a free show at the Bowery Poetry Room in New York City. There, he performed a new song, which the internet is calling “All The Shine”. This is the second cut we’ve heard from Donald’s highly-anticipated studio album Camp after “Bonfire“, and it doesn’t fail to disappoint. In an interview with Rolling Stones earlier this week, the multi-hyphenate talent said about Camp, “The biggest compliment I can give the album right now is it’s worthy of being on Glassnote”. Later in the interview, he hints at a collaboration with his label mates Phoenix and Mumford & Sons. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to talk about it right now, but I’ve started collaborating with a bunch of artists,” he said. This could be part of the reason the album’s release date has been pushed back to November 1st, the same month in which his comedy special Weirdo is set to air on Comedy Central. Donald is also set to star in feature films The To-Do List, featuring his fellow NBC comedians Bill Hader and Aubrey Plaza, and Jason Segal’s interpretation of The Muppets, which hits theaters this November.

But wait, there’s more! Glover was also featured in Peter Rosenberg’s newest mixtape What’s Poppin, Vol. 1. The rapper jumped on J. Cole’s “Who Dat” beat along with Spencer Datt (hence the subtle song name change), the brother of Rosenberg’s fiancee who tragically died in a drunk driving accident in May at the young age of 18 (shouts to P&P for this information).
