Childish Gambino Announces New Mixtape

I think it has been universally accepted that Donald Glover never rests. He recently toured in England and recorded some with South London’s Josh Osho. According to Gambino himself, he’s looking to collaborate more in 2012 (apparently, he’s talked to Kid Cudi as well), and just today, he announced a solo mixtape along with four tinted covers of the Stone Mountain Carving. To say that I’m excited for this mixtape would be a massive understatement. It comes only months after his weirdly controversial Camp LP and will surely generate tons of buzz in every layer of the blogosphere (except for Pitchfork). Check the “Camp Gambino” tour dates and covers below along with a super in-depth multi-part interview, courtesy of HardKnock TV.
Oh, and just to catch you up with other miscellaneous Gambino news, his fans had the final say as they voted Camp 2011′s most underrated album on Pitchfork’s Readers Poll. This, of course, came as a result of their highly unreasonable, dick-squashing review of the album (sorry for that description). Also, a music video for L.E.S. should drop any day now…swag.
