Beirut – Santa Fe [Video]
Beirut just released a music video for what might be the best track off his new album, The Rip Tide, “Santa Fe.” It’s a bouncy song in nature, but I can’t say that I expected the video to be so humorous. That being said, Zach Condon of Beirut has said himself that the group he commissioned to create the video, Sunset Television, “has filled a comedy void for me for the last couple years. To me, it’s a group of filmmakers tastefully making fun of their own craft, with references everybody else wears like a badge of honor.” Sure enough, they nailed comedy on the head with this video for “Santa Fe.” Hit the jump for Beirut’s upcoming tour dates.
