New Artist: Tiger Waves
Why hello there, sunset riders! I’ve got a treat for you that’ll warm your bellies and relax your souls. I discovered Tiger Waves while sorting through the music submissions, and I can’t tell you how refreshing it is find a gem like this. Great sound, and from what I can tell, just as great of a personality.
Hailing out of good ol’ Austin, Texas, Tiger Waves describes themselves as cosmic surf-rock. And, well, I guess that’s sort of what they sound like. Works for me. The band has apparently been collaborating across a great swath of land to bring us this music. They’ve got a diverse list of influences too: The Beach Boys, Early-Period Beatles, Mid-Period Beatles, Late-Period Beatles. But a little more cosmic-y. Take a listen:
