Anthem – A Boy’s Dream

Anthem is one of my very favorite new rappers on the scene. His lyrical abilities are comparable to Drake’s, J. Cole’s, and Lil Wayne’s. What me say Drake, though, is that he focuses on telling his own story in his song. Anthem graduated from Duke University in 2007 and got a job on Wall Street. Shortly after, he realized that he’d rather be pursuing his dreams of becoming a rapper than selling his soul to the financial world.
