“Yellow Cab” – Anthem
My homeboy Anthem is back with a banger. This song was on his EP, but since then it has undergone a few edits that, in my opinion, have made it a MUCH better song. It’s really anthemic, no pun intended, particularly for those of you who live in NYC. One of the reasons I have so much faith in Anthem is that his rhyme scheme is unpredictable. That’s something I look for in rappers with potential.
This is the first single off his debut mixtape, “Almost There.”
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the post with Anthem called “On The iPod,” where Anthem gave Sunset a list of the 10 songs he would put on his iPod if he knew he could only listen to those songs for the rest of his life.
