“Stand Back” (Stevie Nicks cover) – Sky Ferreira
I don’t think I’ve put enough emphasis on how much I like Sky Ferreira’s voice. Her cover of Miike Snow’s “Animal” was what really got me drooling. This song is good-it doesn’t show off her vocal powers quite as much, but it’s a hip, dance groove that brings out the power of dancing in even the worst dancers.
Side note: I haven’t quite figured out how such a powerful voice comes out of such a young-looking girl. She’s crazy though (check her Twitter if you don’t believe me), anything seems possible with her.
