I had this listed as a Smokey Robinson song, as he did a cover of this, but a very nice person left a comment on the blog letting me know that Smokey never recorded that cover; this is indeed Carl Carlton’s original version of the song. Note to all: please correct me when I’m wrong! I really do appreciate it! While we’re on the topic of Smokey Robinson (a la Curren$y’s mixtape title), why not post a classic Smokey Robinson! Such a beautiful song. It randomly came on shuffle during my drive home from work and I thought I NEED TO POST THIS TODAY. I’m in a loving mood, what can I say. Plus, sunset doesn’t get much R&B loving, so I figured this was appropriate! Enjoy!
