More Formal Introduction to ROCKY BUSINESS
As you can see, I just posted a music video, but that wasn’t enough for me. These guys are gently tugging at my ears leaving me begging for more. So I figured anybody who reads this blog enough to have a similar taste in music might be on the same rope I’m on. So, as I said before…Rocky Business reminds me a lot of Theophilus. As I listened to a bit more of their music, I decided I’d put them in the same category as Chiddy Bang as well. They’ve got one white dude who does some sick instrumentals and singing, and one black dude who rips it up on the mic.

Their music provides your palette with a dip of rock, a splash of electronic, and is topped with a layer of hip hop. It’s energetic, it’s new, and it’s right in line with the changing music industry. Hailing from Brooklyn New York, they’re part of the movement that is taking the streets by storm as gangsta rap is stuck at the bus station not knowing where to go.

“Army Of Love” – Rocky Business
This one gets my head nodding, and then gets me jumping up and down once the drums go out of control and Strictly Business raps right up there at the same pace! Let’s go!
This one’s a bit more funky and old school. I love the beat. Once again, the chorus comes and it’s just like you’re right there in the club jumping up and down and saying to yourself, SINCE WHEN DID TIME MACHINES BECOME REALITY!?!?!?
“Burning Dust (Rocky Business Remix)” – Rocky Business
This one has a bit more of the Theophilus sound. If you’re not blazing down Theophilus’s trail already, you’re falling behind. Rocky Business is right up there with him.
And last but not least, here’s the mp3 for the track I posted right before this.
Signing out. Enjoy.
