Excuse me, sir or miss, but if you don’t like The Killers, I simply do not like you. Let me also inform you that The Soundmen, with whom I was lucky enough to virtually sit down and discuss music, never disappoint. When I first saw that they had remixed “When You Were Young” by The Killers, I was admittedly a little bit nervous. Like, “alright boys, don’t mess this up” kind of a deal. Well, that’s the last time I will have any hesitancy about The Soundmen. They absolutely murder this remix, both by putting their own really unique spin on the song and also by keeping my favorite elements of the original — always a recipe for a great remix.

Another great remix by The Soundmen: you may remember me posting a remix of “Bass Down Low” as a Womp Womp Wednesday post a while back. Definitely a different approach from The Soundmen, and I really dig it. They are always so unique with their sounds, and that’s something I really admire about their music.
