Official Release! Freestyle Friday #42: “The In Between” – E-Dubble
Fridays are, without a doubt, the best days of the week. Some people will whine and say ‘nooo, but you have to work on Fridays!’ You people- hush, don’t be lazy. A little work is good for you. Yes, it gets better after 5:00. But what’s perhaps even BETTER than both of those things is that Fridays bring a new freestyle from up-and-coming artist E-Dubble.
I will stand my ground each week and tell you guys to wake up, we’ve got raw talent standing right in front of us. As a music blogger, I consider it my job to pick out raw talent. Sometimes it’s hard; the shelves seem empty. This is easy. It’s as if I’ve walked into a huge museum of white people trying to be rap artists all of the sudden, and where so many of the pieces seem dull and blend in with the rest, one stands out. E-Dubble produces a track every Friday that sounds different from the last Friday’s, and that’s what makes it so fun to hear his new material every week. Seriously, it’s like Christmas morning every Friday! Alright…redundancy is never a good thing, so I’m going to shut my mouth and sit back, and hopefully yall will be able to revel in the glory that is E-Dubble right alongside me.
